Kang Seung-Hyun (born 22 September 1987), also known as Hyoni Kang, is a Korean fashion model who won Ford's Supermodel of the World title in 2008.[1] She is the first model of Asian ancestry to win this award.[2]
After she won the Supermodel of the World contest in January 2008, she participated in that year's New York and Paris Fashion Weeks, doing shows like Michael Kors, Rock & Republic, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Sonia Rykiel.[3] She was on the cover of the Vogue Korea with Hye Rim Park in April, 2008. Kang has appeared in advertisements for Benetton and catalogs for Victoria's Secret.[3] She also has a Lacoste Spring/Summer 2009 Campaign along with Alyona Osmanova and Tanya Dziahileva.
